i too spent a 3 year tour @ ft. huachuca. enjoyed it. never lived in the desert before. was quite a different lifestyle from back home in IL. i really enjoyed seeing the mountains all around me. every morning & evening made for some beautiful sunrises/sunsets.

i sometimes miss the desert, but not this time of year. i'll take 80's-90's and humid over 100-110 dry heat. lol. good to hear from you.

nice, i have more signal corps friends now! so your profile says you live in AZ. are you in the Sierra Vista area? or did you relocate somewhere else. we're thrilled to have you with us!

my time was short, but mainly stationed at Ft Huachuca myself. loved that area, and found it hard to come back to IL. now i look forward to scraping 4 inches of ice of my car about a dozen times a year.

i hope you have fun here on TroopSpace and meet some interesting folks along the way. take care and we'll talk soon.

Glad to have you here- we exist for the Troops, vets, future armed forces members and all those that support them.
